Well No. 992 was successfully drilled and dedicated for Brother Ful Kumar in Mustafabad village, located in the Sujanganj Block of Jaunpur District. For many years, the village lacked safe and dignified access to drinking

water.

Previously, the villagers relied on a private bore well owned by a man who struggled with alcoholism and often verbally abused the community and behaved inappropriately toward young girls. Although there was also a government-installed well, it had fallen into such

poor condition that it was unusable.

When the villagers asked the village chief for help, they were told there was no quota available for a new well and only limited repairs could be made. Through God’s providence, they eventually learned about our ministry and shared their situation with Brother Gulab.

Our team visited the village, prayed with the people, and assessed their needs. With compassion for the community, we committed to drilling a new bore well. The project was completed successfully, and the villagers are now filled with joy and gratitude. They finally have safe drinking water, restoring their dignity and freeing them from the hardship and humiliation they once endured.

A new water tap and well have been installed at Janapremi Basic School, to address a major water shortage. The school serves 312 students and staff, but previously had only one well, making access to water difficult throughout the school day.

Students often had to wait in long lines for drinking water, sometimes missing class as a result. During breaks, the area became overcrowded, and in the dry season, there

was often not enough water. Younger children especially struggled with the long waits and crowded conditions. The lack of water also affected hygiene and sanitation. Many students were unable to wash their hands properly, and the toilets were difficult to keep clean.

The new well and water tap have brought a major improvement to the school. Students and staff now have reliable access to clean water throughout the day. Long lines are gone, students can focus better on their studies, and hygiene has greatly improved. Toilets are cleaner, handwashing is more consistent, and the overall school environment is healthier and more comfortable.

Overall, this project has created a safer, cleaner, and more peaceful learning environment for everyone at the school.

The village is home to Yadav, Sah, and Chamar families, many of whom depend on daily labor for their livelihood and struggle to meet basic needs. Before the well was installed, about 20 families lacked reliable access to clean drinking water and could not afford to install their own well.

They often depended on others for water, sometimes waiting long periods or being turned away. When water was unavailable nearby, they had to walk nearly one kilometer to collect it. The available water was also high in iron, causing an unpleasant taste, discoloration, and health concerns. The situation became even more difficult during the rainy season, when roads turned muddy and water sources became contaminated or inaccessible.

Today, the new well is providing clean, safe water to approximately 20 households and benefits more than 50 additional people, including farmers, travelers, and nearby

residents. Located near the main road, the well is easily accessible and has brought significant relief to the community.
